They pretty much owned half of Wells at one point. There is/was a cafe thing next door called The Milko Bar. Caused a big family ruck back in the day when it was suggested the name be altered to The Milk 'O Bar. Staithe Street was a river of Platten blood that night. I stayed out of it.
