Don't think many rothposts are (intended to be) 'helpful'

Suspect part of the cynicism relates to the way the defences of him have changed. First it was about luck. Then Hughton. Then that it was mainly that he was coming back from injury. Now it seems to be a combination of "the fans have destroyed his confidence" and "he needs a season to learn about English football".

The last two may be true. But if so, they both suggest we overpaid by quite a lot for him.
