yes you're right in the medium-to-long term, obviously

but in the short term, the here and now? Does anyone really enjoy copping flak?

I'm sure he has a thicker skin than most, but he can't be enjoying what's happening and it must rankle a bit when he sees criticism aimed his way.

Who knows. FWIW I think he thought Moyes would do an ok job. Not stellar, but not poor.
