Personally, not being an "inner" or "outer", I think that if you look at those stats

neutrally, you have to say that Hughton has done a reasonably good job. I don't agree that we play defensive football either - there has been a sort of self-fulfilling acceptance of that as an opinion. He isn't good at substitutions, that's quite obvious. It's also obvious (to me, anyway) that the team is having a run of poor form that has gone on for a long time. It happens in sport though, doesn't it? It also goes in cycles. Now everyone's an expert though, we all think that blaming a particular factor makes us appear more knowledgeable.

Well, anyway, that's the way I see it.
