I think the fans picture themselves Everton style

being top half & flirting with the occasional cup final/european place.

Was surprised at how they blew the SF last year.

Just think that the Villa fans have greater expectations than the owners. Don't think he'll get sacked, but don't think they'll win anything or do an Everton. Which is why I think boredom might kick in.

Think it was the wrong club for him - in the absence of funds can't see either him or Villa thriving.

As long as they don't stay up at our expense I'm not really fussed what Lambert/Villa do.
