um, in touch with the people who'll be mid-lower table next year

it's pretty rare for all of the promoted sides to struggle as they have momentum/confidence from the promotion.

But it appears that 25-30M is roughly what teams needed to spend this year not to fall back. We could always experiment , west brom style with transfer restraint.

Our investment last summer meant that, as it was higher than previously, some assumed we'd be comfy mid-table - i reckon to stand a chance of that we'd need to invest more, with the greater risks that entails.
