He's put on some weight but he needs to put on a bit more, for me; the EPL is more physical than what he's used to, and chances are at much more of a premium - he'll have needed to adjust to the pace of games here, which he's clearly now done. His attitude is first class, he always puts a shift in and he did yesterday too, and his positioning improves all the time. He still looks a little lightweight to me and some strength training over the summer would be a Good Thing.
What he can't do however is finish, which is kind of the point of him. It was so frustrating watching him squander those chances yesterday - on another day we'd not have had the Tettey wondergoal and one of those chances might have made all the difference.
If he can just scab one somehow I hope a hatful will follow.
All of which said, I'd start Hoops over him at the minute, because the link-up play is better...
I suspect he'll stay with us next year as one of our four strikers.
