This is what I sent

Neil,

You and the rest of the Board must be able to see that things have gone beyond the recoverable stage for Mr Worthington.

He has completely lost the support of the majority of fans ? not just those who post on message boards, but the man in the street too.

The Board?s loyalty to Nigel has been commendable, but sometimes loyalty is misplaced and can lead to complacency. If Nigel hasn?t lost the dressing room, as is claimed, then it is simply his coaching and motivational skills which are clearly lacking.

In the past 18 months Nigel has made a series of decisions ? both in team selections, tactics and transfers ? which have been truly staggering to anyone who has a modicum of footballing nous. I won?t list them all ? they have been well documented elsewhere.

If the Board continues to have faith in Nigel then they risk undoing much of the goodwill they have engendered among Norwich fans in the past few years. It has reached the point where the risk of change is smaller than the risk of maintaining the status quo ? both in terms of a potential relegation and in terms of season ticket renewals.

I know the Board must be seriously considering the situation ? what they cannot afford to do is adopt a stubborn attitude. This club belongs to the fans, not to any Board of directors or manager.

Regards,
