I'd disagree that all those players had peaked...

as Linighan, Townsend and Phelan all went on to 'bigger and better' things..you could argue that gordon going to Rangers was a move up too. The big thing was the team ethic over individual....more than the sum of their parts to cliche it up.

Yes this year no one has played to their potential but maybe that is due to the fact that the tactics creates an unbalanced team.
