An interesting article...if verging on 'bigfeller' wordage.

I don't believe we could recreate the 88-89 team now for a relatively similar amount of money. Those players would have cost us millions in the current climate of prices of mediocre champs players....definitely more than we have to spend anyway.

BTW of those players mentioned all would go straight in to the first team except maybe Gunn and Gordon in my opinion.
