it's when it's *forced* that it seems just so wrong

like the pre-kickoff OTBC or the clappers or the "goal music" or, further afield, the handing out of flags to all chelsea fans at their games in the champs league. no need. the green brigade and, to an extent, the palace "ultras" kind of work a bit though. when the club push it though it is naff.
