A1, A17, A47 by far best of a bunch of s**tty options.

I have done this LOTS++.

However, very rarely find it takes "an age" to get off the A1 onto the A17 at Newark. Protip: don't queue up in the right-hand lane at the roundabout at the top of the exit slip road from the A1, use the middle lane and cruise past all them mugs, then force your way over on the roundy, like a boss. Never fails. Never.

Once onto the A17, you've got a tiny little roundabout, and then a 2 mile straight before the next roundabout. use that first long straight to overtake all wagons, muppets and mugs that you can, because after the next roundabout it gets harder to pass someone. Toe down and go. Never any coppers or cameras. Don't f**k about, go.
