When I go to my son's near Chatteris I go M62, A1, A47. That's enough

of a drag but Chatteris to the A11 through Ely is even worse.
When we go to my partner's brothers at Wymondham, we go to Cambridge and take A14, A11. Seems a long way round but much more pleasant and, depending on the A14 from Huntingdon to Girton, probably quicker
