How much more can we be expected to take??

Surely the time has come when everybody must realise that this club is going absolutely nowhere under the current management team. We have repeatedly been told by Delia that we are the best supporters in the country and that our spirit and togetherness is something in which we should all take pride. I feel that we have now gone beyond that point as I and certainly everybody that i know and speak to no longer has much spirit left and certainly no togetherness with the current hierarchy.
We all owe Delia and MWJ a great deal and i would not wish to diss what they have both done for our club but i feel that we should all now be questioning her judgement in continuing to back this current disastrous management regime. Remember she told us that in Hamilton and Cooper that we had the best that we could get and should back them without question.
I feel Worthy was rather lucky to get us promotion in the first place and if his initial transfer targets of early 2003/04 had been brought into the club (Hulse, Alan Lee, Shipperley etc) that we would not have gained that promotion. The big stroke of luck that he had was losing Nielsen and Abbey in the same week because if we had retained those two as our strike force we would not have gone up. After losing those two clowns they board were forced to act and struck gold with the acquisition of both Crouch and Hucks and the rest is history.
I feel we squandered our premiership status all too easily and always adopted the attitude that it was going to take a miracle to stay there, rather than go for it as other teams have done more recently. I dont buy into the claims that Wigan and WHU had more money to throw at it than we did as Wigan just could not buy players in the summer as no-one would go there as they thought that they would be just one season wonders.
After our inevitable relegation he has adopted a scattergun approach to player recruitment and has brought in some truly awful players, Jarrett and Hughes for example are prime examples. Jarrett simply beggars belief and how a player like Hughes who cannot even pass the ball is now held up as a beacon and has become our captain is truly depressing. Just look how both of there former teams are coping without them.
This season on the pitch has just been a total disaster - we lurch from one bad performance to the next with the odd brief 20 mins here and there which are clung to like a drowning man by our increasingly desperate management.
I have never felt so depressed about the fortunes or our fine club in 40 years of supporting them.
Well what to do now - personally i think we need to stage a massive peaceful demo prior to the Southampton game outside the main entrance. Let the players hear from outside the ground what we the supporters think of their efforts this season. Maybe this might even motivate them, NW surely cannot any more. Also if we managed to get this publicity on all message boards and through the various supporters channels in this saturdays pink-un i really do think that we could muster a massive presence and show the club that we really are not a vocal minority but actually represent the feelings of the majority of supporters. What do the rest of you feel about this idea - does it have any merit and could we possibly make this board wake up and face the situation as it is rather continue to spout all the old platitudes that we have heard for far too long
