Tonight is the first time I really feel the odds are now against us, with our form and games to go. Lose next week and I'll give us a 75% chance of being relegated.

sacking Hughton now would make no sense as the new manager wouldn't have anytime to implement his own strategy or tactics. He had the chance to sack him but didn't take it.
