Rivers: Worthy right man for the job

Ex-Norwich and current Crewe midfielder Mark Rivers has told Nigel Worthington's critics to get their facts right before demanding his resignation. The midfielder, who left Crewe to join Norwich in a ?500,000 deal before being released after Norwich's title success to move back to the Railwaymen via a trial at Ipswich, said last night "Nigel Worthington may not be a big name but the success he's had at Norwich has been phenomenal. We weren't the most skilful players but a playoff final and a Championship in three years was a tremendous achievement. And relegation from the Premiership on the last day shows what a good team he has put together. I wish Norwich all the luck in their drive for the playoffs, apart from on Saturday, aaahahahahahahaaa..."
