Personal experience it's absolutely fine

Been going out there or thereabouts for 8 years and I've never had my head caved in or anything

People obviously read stuff in the paper but I'm basing it on experience. Feel much more safe down there than a similar place in Liverpool Manchester London Leeds newcastle etc
