... To be honest, I reckon our generation are exceedingly lucky and we take football for granted. Nowadays, the football hooligan element doesn't really tend to exist in Football (except in the minority and it rarely reaches the news) and grounds are now much safer due to seating and better policing.

However, I do feel that Football has lost its passion, enthusiasm and opulence and has been turned into a corporate funfair by Manchester United et al.
