If that was Howson, i'd put money on him playing it in front of him for Ricky to run onto

Ricky had to stop his run and the ball still didn't get to him.

Yeah he has scuffed a couple of decent chances, but he does make runs its just half the time when we break through the middle we have either Bassong or Johnson trying to play him in.
