When I had campylobacter I thought I was going to die.

A f**king horrible, horrible thing. I was really ill for 2 weeks and not fully recovered for a good while after that.

God knows what the f**king thing did to me long term. May just be coincidence, but one thing I did notice at that time was that my eyesight deteriorated after I had the f**ker. Never, ever needed glasses before then, but after, for distance my eyesight was quite bad, things were blurred, like car number plates just a little way down the street, I really struggled to read things under fluorescent lights e.g. the menu behind the counter at KFC, couldn't read some of it, was too blurred.

My vision has improved/settled down a bit since then, but is still nowhere near what it was.

Again, don't know if it's coincidence or not, my hands and fingers lock up and are painful, especially after I've been doing something manual, using a screwdriver for e.g. Never happened before I had the c**t.

I shat my arse out for those worst 2 weeks, felt like I had a jungle fever or something, sweats, temperature, just felt like I was dying......
