The problem with that is that nobody has a any clue about the Bowland Shale potential,

They haven't even drilled anywhere near enough wells to get an accurate resource estimate.

All the while they won't let any more drilling happen there, nobody will ever know. It's like trying to measure an area 100km square with a 3m tape measure.
