It's not "up to him" at all ...

Playing for a club is not just about being "professional" - it is not an unfeeling means of earning money (or ought not to be) - if that were the case, none of us would be supporters, or we'd simply seek out the "best" game for entertainment rather than the teams involved - it utterly undermines everything about supporting a particular side, and it is unlike anything I've ever heard of from a Norwich player. I can't see any real excuse.
