That second half performance was one of cowardice, pacifism and betrayal: of the fans, and of what this club is supposed to stand for. Referring to it as being about "pride" is taking the piss on a grand scale.

The board won't act though. Too late now, and I can understand their position better than a month or two back. We've gone too far down this road to turn back now; we just have to pray that we cling on, and scramble to about 37 or 38 points.
