It's how you use players not the who you use

We have attacking players on the pitch but only commit 1 or 2 forward, the rest hold back and keep the shape.

It's meant to make us solid and hard to beat but it means we score hardly any goals and invite the opposition to attack us.

If you're going to play deep then you need to be able attack decisively at speed to stand a chance of scoring.

Hughton clearly doesn't know how to make his system work and hasn't got the imagination to try something new.

It's been the same every week for 2 seasons.
