I think the last time we "looked good" and won a game was Man Utd. It was a sublime performance: the defence was organised and marked United's attacking threats out of the game, Safri was relentless in central midfield, Francis and Bentley made some effort for the TV cameras and the move that led to the second goal was brilliant.
Otherwise, yes, I agree - I'd love to see Crook (and Bowen?) back in some capacity, and yes, it is about 12 years since "good football" was played at Carra (at least by us).
