am v jealous of the climbs you've done. And like you have always wanted to ride Ventoux - let us know how it goes.

Not done much riding abroad myself (even though am better suited to climbing than anything else). Rode the Giau when I did the Maratona dles Dolomites last year

which was fantastic,, but, after 5 mountain passes before it, f*cking tough. Was properly pedalling squares over the last 2k of it.

Am hopefully doing some more riding in Italy this summer, but nothing that big. (But am doing this

the Gran Fondo - in a few months' time, which has a fair amount of Welsh climbing in it!
