...but really if the ground is 80% seated and 20% standing (numbers plucked out of the air) surely people can't grumble too much?

Fact is many of us want to stand at games and can't. I accept that some want to sit without their view obscured but I think both sets can be accommodated. Most in the lower Barclay/Snakepit want to stand anyway (certainly D+E blocks where I used to sit)
