The "lazy flick" was particularly stupid

It was actually a brilliant bit of skill after the pass had gone behind him, and if it had come off anyone sensible would have been raving about it (Mills would probably have said that he over-ran the pass on purpose because he didn't want to be criticised for not scoring so was trying to make the pass look bad)
