If you read this Villa thread, it is pretty clear that AV are playing useless boring rubbish, not to put too fine a point on it, and that it appears that PL (whilst a great motivator, who had wonderful times with us, to some extent as a matter of very good fortune) is not actually a particularly good manager at this level. I suspect that the history will judge the Hoots to be the much better manager.
