I thought he had his best spell since everton. Put himself about fought for a couple of long balls upfield and won possession, couple of nice lay offs.

I can't honestly say he played better than I think Hooper would have done, or that we shouldn't expect better, but in that spell he looked decent.

I think Hooper benefitted from playing against a tiring defence too.
