That's more the case among the bottom 11 than anywhere else. We lost to Cardiff but held Man City; lost to West Ham but beat Spurs. Citeh and Spurs won't have been expecting that either, and have much better players than we do.
The total I've expected this season is a completely realistic one: factoring in that we'd drop points and games in stupid places at times, because everyone does. And suddenly, we're only 1 behind it again, despite all our problems this season.
How can I want Hughton out when we're only a single point behind what I regard as par? It'd be ridiculous.
