No belief, only hope

In truth I really no longer believe we're going to get a result today. Even if we play well, I still can't see it. How I miss the days when it felt like we could best anyone on our day.

All I've got left now is hope, based on nothing. I want us to do it today so badly, so I can unleash all the pent up frustration of the last three games. But I fully expect to be sitting here after the game with the usual feelings of bitter frustration.

The only saving grace is that although there's a spurs fan at work, he's actually not a c**t and won't be ripping the piss once they win.
