This is my problem with a lot of the Winter t'Olympics.

Too many events where a subjective judgement is part of the ranking.

Sports should have objective measures - you score more goals than me, you win; I run the stated distance quicker than you, then I win.

When you start to award marks for style into it too, it becomes Notsport.

Ski Jumping for instance - not only do you have to jump as far as you can, you get marks for style too. Notsport.

So, bobsledgering, curling, speedskatering, downhill skiing - Sport; ice dancing, ski jumping, snowboarding halfpipe nonsense: Notsport. Still plenty enjoyable to watch, for sure, but not sport. Notsport.
