Lived in the Fine City briefy in the early 90s

I am originally from Bristol and was brought up there and in Devon prior to moving to Norfolk in 1992. Had been raised on a diet of rugby and cricket until that point.

Once I arrived in East Anglia I started taking an interest in the round ball game as the local team were doing pretty well (top of the league no less!) and the play ground was full of kids running around in bird poo kits.

I saw the European games and I went to my first game in 1993 and that was it. I was also mates with Chris Sutton's little brother (John) so used to hang out at his house and met the local superstar quite a few times.

We moved again a couple of years later but the dye was cast. I've spent the subsequent 22 years going to as many away games as I can and the occasional pilgrimage back to Norwich when I can. Proving tricky here in Japan but still, City til I die!
