It's all because of my Grandfather

who was a director at City during the 40's and 50's.

Our family have lived in West Suffolk for six generations (Buckinghamshire via Australia previous to that). My grandfather was a former chairman of Bury Town FC. Around the end of WWII, an agreement was signed for Bury Town to become a feeder club for NCFC, and Grandad was invited onto the board.

From then on, my father got hooked, and his passion spilled over to me. He took me to my first game, against Burnley, aged 5 in 1973.
