The Board has to be sent the message two ways. Delia would have gotten the message at Derby yesterday on an emotional level. Away fans being some of the most passionate followers of the club, she couldn't fail to see where the thoughts of the die hard fan lie. She is after all a fan herself. It is the other level that is more tricky. I believe not all of the directors are especially fans of football. Their button that needs to be pushed is the financial one. Thats why Hull's suggestion of a boycott of the home cup game is a good one. When the financially oriented directors see the bottom line being affected their eyes open a little wider. Could go as far as boycotting programs and concessions at home games. Not a tasteful or desired approach but necessary to get some directors attention.
