This is what I think could make the FA cup great again.....

1.Any teams in Europe in a particular season do not get entered into the competition.
2. Winning the trophy does not result in entry to European competition.
3. Winning the trophy results in a bonus 3 points in the team's respective league; therefore team's under threat of relegation may see winning the cup as a means to avoid going down (re: Wigan last season) or if in the case of The Championship those 3 points might just be enough to see them into the play-offs

So something to actually play for and every team has a realistic chance of winning, because the big guns aren't in it.
