OK so a lot of us have switched our protests from Nigel to Delia/the board in general. Me, I'm not sure this is fair - but I know so little about the way these things operate that I accept I may be way off the mark.
It's just that it occurs to me that the board are probably responsible first to their larger shareholders and then to the fans. And I read on here that various of these serious shareholders have recently been public in their support for Nigel.
Then, to my ignorant mind, the board's support for Nigel is their prime duty and not necessarily stubborn refusal to face the obvious.
I'm not trying to be clever - I don't understand. Not my kind of thing, Boards of Directors.
