I'm certain Worthy has a target list and it's being vigorously pursued

It's just that Worthy doesn't like to do his business through the tabloid rumours columns (ie. the whole Sports section). Last year was a bit difficult because of the Euro championships, so some of the players we were after weren't going to commit to anything until that was over. However, I do think that Doherty was something of a panic buy when our main targets didn't come off.
