We have a magnificent fanbase and the foundations have been put into place to be a successful unit and club. All this is now in danger of collapse over this non-sensical approach to allow Mr Worthington as Manager of our Football Club.
The club belongs to the people and not individuals. I do think Delia is a wonderful ambassador, but now along with yuor husband and Mr Munby and co please please respect your supporters and don't allow this truly embarrassing period to drift on with Nigel at the helm. Ask him to resign to avoid the unnecessary humiliation of being sacked and call it an "amicable split".
Nigel's tactics are nothing short of embarrassing. Eight away defeats in eleven games in the Championship tells its own story.
On the subject of Dickson Etuhu can we not walk away from signing him permanently in January or have we signed a written agreement that is binding? His performances (or lack of them) against Millwall and Derby were a disgrace to the shirt!
May I also add that Adam Drury has ended up being one of the biggest disappointments. He looked a terrific prospect, but what on earth has happened to him? Against Millwall he looked a wreck.
Worthington's excuses are also quite staggering. Yes, the players should take responsibility, but it is the Gaffer's role to motivate the players. This is not happening.......
And 1 final point and it concerns Dean Ashton. His performance at Millwall was appalling, but there is no way anybody can fault his efforts at Derby yesterday. I am disgusted with the so-called Pink Un reporter who slated him. He is low on confidence, but is it any wonder with the rubbish that is around him (Huckerby excepted)!
The biggest problem is the midfield. And the fault is at the door of Nigel Worthington. Time to go.
