Just noticed that we haven't started Redmond/Pilks/Wes all together

in any of our league games this season, mainly due To Pilks' injury issues and Hughton's selection policy in regards to Wes. In fact, we've rarely seen a combination of two from the three starting games together this season. I'm not suggesting that entire trio is likely to appear under Hughton, or even that it's definitely "the answer", but surely it's worth a go at some stage with us severely struggling for goals? Pilks can score goals and create them with his pace over 10 yards, Wes can create lots of chances and dictate the play while Redmond has the general pace to allow us to play on the counter.

I also haven't seen enough quality from Fer in an advanced role to suggest that it's worth persisting with him in that position either. I thought he did well when he came on versus Cardiff, but otherwise I've been unimpressed by him in that sort of CAM position. Now that Tettey is back maybe we can afford to have Fer in an orthodox CM position again? I feel as if two of the biggest issues atm are BJ's passing and Snoddy's slow style on the ball, being two of the main reasons why our play can be so disjointed and ponderous.

Obviously improved substitutions would go a long way too, but I think that this side could score goals if given the chance to play together in a 4/2/3/1:

Hooper

Pilkington/Hoolahan/Redmond

Tettey/Fer

Olsson/Bassong/Yobo/Martin

Ruddy

...and a new manager, of course.

Someone please reassure me that this is all possible and that we still have hope!
