Lies, damn lies and statistics

Just had a look at the match report on whoscored. Have a guess who it rated as our best players.

I'll ignore it's first choice (Yobo) as he did have a good game, although I wouldn't have called him mom.

Second was snoddy, apparently he was comfortably our best player outside the back 4. Just bizarre, no?

Is this sort of thing why Hoots regards him as undropable? Maybe Hoots and co put too much faith in statistical models and not enough in their own judgement.
