Wake up Delia: We were favourites this season!!!!!

Out of all the clubs that were favourites to win their respective leagues at the start of the season, how many would have not sacked their manager by now if they had a record like we have?

We were supposed to be the Chelsea of this division - would Mourinho still be Chelsea Boss if they had averaged 1 point per game so far? I think not...

We have had the biggest slide down the leagues out of EVERY professional club in this country over the last 12 months as far as I can see.... yet Portsmouth still feel justified to sack their manager before we do.

The (few) Worthy supporters say you can't blame him, its the players, but the reason to blame him are:

1) Lack of motivation from players
Thats his responsibility like any manager in any job.

2) He's replaced those going out with rubbish.
Jarrett, Hughes, Thorne have always been average / crap Championship players and that won't change. Ethuhu is supposed to be the savior, yet he can't even get in the Preston side... same with Robinson & Sunderland. Lisbie was dire... Fleming has been as good as our 2 new right backs when he plays in that position (which says a lot)

3) Squad is screwed up.
We have no natural right winger at the squad, but we have loads of full backs... and Worthy wonders why we aren't scoring

4) Off pitch issues
I'm not going to go into any rumours, but something is not right.... Huckerby and Ashton look totally out of place, Safri has now been dropped by all accounts (even though hes been our best player by far) and Shackell / Mckenzie have disappeared from the face of the earth. Surely there must be a problem with the players and management... if not why doesn't Worthy sort out the issues?

5) We have "stars"
And they know it... Huckerby and Ashton are the prime examaple... they put zero effort in every game, presumably because this league's below them now. Worthy needs to have the balls to drop them and bring in youngsters and get the "stars" in line.

6) Worthy never changes the team
As above, why not bring in the youngsters... I mean they couldnt do much worse... whats the point of playing Rossi Jarvis in the cup and then totally dropping him since even though he had a good game??? Why ignore them Worthy?

7) Tactically naive
We have a running joke that worthy won't consider subs until the 80th min. How lame is it that the crowd could not watch an entire game, but still predict when a sub is coming on? Formation changes? Forget about it! Also win, lose or draw, we will play the exact same team / formation the next game unless we have injuries/suspensions... to me that says that we have a manager who is totally out of depth

WAKE UP DELIA... if we don't do something soon I can truely see us going down again.
