I agree with exactly what you've said, it is something more than a simple alteration of

the formation. I also genuinely wanted Hughton to succeed but i feel that his cautious emphasis on the game restricts the ablities of the players, and i feel the need to be cautious is sooooooo evident on the pitch in their football. When we are on attacks most games we struggle to get the ball into the box as nobody wants to take a risk and commit the defenders. I like hughton greatly but i feel if he manages to keep us up, he again would have done his job, but i cant help but hope that one day Malky Mackay will return to Carrow Road as a manager, as he is also aware of the defensive side of the game, but is more encouraging for players to invest in attacks and commit the opponent.
