But I can preach it no more. Worthington has to go.

Norwich City are heading for League One - the evidence is there before all our eyes and yet the Board refuse to budge. They have quite simply lost their minds and their lack of courage at this crucial juncture in our Club's history is nothing short of shameful.

They are showing misplaced loyalty to an incapable manager. They are showing blind support for a defeated and damaging regime. IT MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

There is not one comparible example in the game today where a manager has been allowed to preside over such a capitulation for so long and enjoy the unswerving support of his Board.

We will never be Charlton because Alan Curbishley is a damn fine manager. Worthington is not.

When Charlton were relegated after one season in the Premiership they romped to the Div One title a year later.

When West Brom were relegated after one season in the Premiership they coasted to promotion a year later.

Us? Desperate performances, third-rate players signed, terrible body language and tetchy nonsense in the press attacking supporters who give everything and at the moment are being treated as fools.

If there was a chink of light, if there was hope, if there was any mitigation whatsoever then supporters might yet be patient.

But there is nothing. Nothing but the prospect of a slide further down the table in to the bottom three, and if our very best players leave in January (and who honestly could blame them) it may well be too late for NCFC to be saved.

Even if they do the right thing early in the New Year, a new man may find the task of keeping us up beyond him. Especially without any quality in the squad. The time to act is NOW.
