Harder to play regulation strugglers right at the end because

there's so much riding on the one result, and no room for manoeuvre should that game end in defeat for you.

I've no problems with anxiety and endless discussion about whether we will or won't go down, but to effectively give-up now and consign your team to relegation with 14 games to go, by very definition means you've given up supporting your team. I could never give up backing my team to the bitter end.
