I wanted Hoots as replacement for Lambert

But have had doubts ever since hearing his pre-match build up to the first match at Fulham. I know that sounds mad but I can't equate being successful with the type of attitude that he demonstrated then, and ever since. When Ashley sacked him at Newcastle I remember thinking that his reasons were mad. I suppose I can see his point now.
