The Wes reality check

The problem is to get the best out of Wes you have to set your team up around him.......which means if he is injured (or playing s**t) you don't really have a decent replacement.

Wes has been a great player none more so when playing in a diamond formation.
That formation works great up until the championship level but is easily exploited by better faster teams.

Wes is a great but not world class player who is on the wrong side of 30
A move to a champs clubs is unlikely to hurt his international career.
I fully understand why the club don't want to sell at a stupid price.
It sets a bad precedent if we allow pram throwers to leave cheaply but at the same time you cant keep someone if they are not happy.
I think a deal will get done.
