Personally, I think he's potentially worth about ?2 million based on age and ability

but I'd say that value is closer to ?1.5 million now based on how Wes has been deployed since the start of 2013. Diminishing form and influence is going to lead to a reduced value. Now add in the fact that we've started playing a system that can't accommodate him, while he has been playing up quite a bit, then it doesn't seem like such a piss take of an offer from a side that are hardly in a desperate situation themselves.
