I don't like the comments that he has apparently made, but I certainly can't blame him for wanting a move when he's clearly not a vital part of our plans with the reasonably successful shift to 4-4-2.

Regardless of all that, I'll always think about his 30 league goals and 36 assists ahead of any regrettable throw away comments. He has contributed a hell of a lot to the club for a player that's often a sub, the latter point being something that you've suggested quite a few times on here.
